Job role: Admin Officer

We’re looking for an Administrative Officer at the London Community Bank.

This is an amazing opportunity to join a London based Credit Union in an important role supporting their members, carrying out critical operational tasks and offering excellent customer service.

If you are highly organised, have lots of initiative and love improving processes and systems and keen on learning about a new sector, this could be just the role for you. The role offers flexible working, a collaborative team environment and room for growth.

The London Community Bank is a thriving credit union with a membership base of 3500 and savings of £8m. We're committed to financial inclusion and community development. We were formed in January 1991 originally just serving the employees of Hillingdon Council. Since then, our Common Bond has extended to anyone who works or lives in the London boroughs of Hillingdon, Harrow, Ealing, Brent, Hounslow, Hammersmith & Fulham, Richmond upon Thames, Kingston upon Thames, Wandsworth, Merton as well as Slough and South Bucks. About You:

Are you a self-motivated, organized individual with practical office and financial management experience? We're looking for a confident communicator, team-player and someone that is eager to learn, to join our team, managing day-to-day activities and promoting financial services.

Position Details:

Job Title: Administration Officer

Reporting to: General Manager

Salary: £24,300 p.a. pro rata – up to 25 hours per week (9 am to 2 pm Monday to Friday) plus pension contributions

Location: The Civic Centre, Uxbridge

Main Responsibilities:

 The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

-Excellent communication, organizational skills and attention to detail.

-Strong customer service skills.

- Keen to learn about / grow their knowledge of the Credit Union sector and regulatory framework. Passionate about financial inclusion and serving the local community.

- Proficiency in database management, following processes, identifying improvements and passion to get the most from a system.

- Ability to work well in a team.

- Tech literate with practical office and financial management experience

- As is usual in a small team, happy to take on whatever is a priority at the time.

- Self-starter with the ability to work under pressure.
